ACM IMX 2022 and beyond

The ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (ACM TVX) is the leading international conference for presentation and discussion of research into online video and TV interaction and user experience. The conference brings together international researchers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, ranging from human-computer interaction, multimedia engineering and design to media studies, media psychology and sociology.
For the past six years, ACM IMX has been held in these great cities around the world:
- TVX 2014 in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
- TVX 2015 in Brussels, Belgium
- TVX 2016 in Chicago, USA
- TVX 2017 in Hilversum, The Netherlands
- TVX 2018 in Seoul, South Korea
- TVX 2019 in Manchester, UK
- IMX 2020 in Barcelona, Spain
We are now looking for candidates for hosting IMX 2021 or beyond. The conference dates should be similar to the other ACM IMX conferences (in June). Particularly strong submissions will include details on plans to engage local universities as well as the technology and/or media industry in the host region. More details on the conference series are available.
To be able to objectively decide upon a venue for IMX 2022 (or beyond), we would like you to prepare a proposal following the bidding guidelines (pdf).
Proposals to host ACM IMX 2022 or beyond should be sent to the ACM IMX steering-committee at firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than May 31, 2019.
Bids will be evaluated according to the following criteria: location, venue, dates, OC/PC/chairs/organizers, and budget. Decision about future hosts are made by the ACM IMX steering committee. Notification will be sent in July 3, 2019.
