Double-Blind Review Process + Rebuttal. The paper track is our most rigorous reviewed way to publish novel research findings, evidence based opinion pieces or other complete pieces of work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3996b9;\" href=\"https:\/\/imx.acm.org\/2026\/equity\/call-for-associate-chairs\/\">Associate Chairs (ACs)<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0This year will be a combination of an open call and invitations to find a set of associate chairs who will work closely with our\u00a0technical program chairs\u00a0to find reviewers for the paper track. IMX aims to have a set of diverse ACs who can help make the conference as inclusive as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\"><a style=\"color: #3996b9;\" href=\"https:\/\/imx.acm.org\/2026\/authors\/call-for-demos\/\"><strong style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">Demos:<\/strong><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\"><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\">\u00a0<\/span>Curated. Demos are the perfect way to introduce, to the community, your work on media applications, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts of technologies like emerging media, interactive TV experiences, VR\/AR\/MR experiences. It is also a way to showcase how interactive media (and art) impact lives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\"><strong style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\"><a style=\"color: #3996b9;\" href=\"https:\/\/imx.acm.org\/2026\/authors\/call-for-wip\/\">Work-in-Progress<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\"><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\">\u00a0<\/span>Juried. The work-in-progress track is a short paper form to publish works that are not complete. The doctoral symposium is aimed for people preparing PhDs (or other doctoral degrees) that are relevant to the themes of IMX<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3996b9;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3996b9;\" href=\"https:\/\/imx.acm.org\/2026\/authors\/call-for-workshops\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Workshops<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span> Curated. Workshop proposals are quite light weight.
