href=\"https:\/\/nca.ufma.br\/lique2025\">LIQUE 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 1st Life Improvement in Quality by Ubiquitous Experiences Workshop (LIQUE 2021) happened together with IMX 2021 &#8211; ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences on June 21st, 2021 (http:\/\/lique2021.midiacom.uff.br). It gathered researchers from different countries to discuss how immersive experiences and interactive media can be used to improve our quality of life. The second and third editions of the LIQUE Workshop were also on the first day of ACM IMX 2022 in Aveiro, Portugal and ACM IMX 2023 in Nantes, France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) become more and more present everywhere, with every use, in a pervasive, universal and predominant way (or in a unique word: ubiquitous) there is a growing interest in IMX systems designed for life quality improvements in all possible aspects. This is specially relevant nowadays that we all are facing the challenge to keep the comfort related to technological development and at same time respect the Earth equilibrium and ecosystems\u2019 maintenance in all aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) typically includes as many as possible users and digital developers inside the implementation involving and transforming all the participants of the process. However, little is directed to the quality of life in all aspects that could affect such social\/machine\/environment interactions in current face-to-face settings. At this moment, it is crucial to reflect and discuss the implications and possibilities related to them. As in the last editions, this workshop proposed to be held together with ACM Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) 2025, aims to bring together practitioners and researchers to discuss the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">opportunities and challenges of Life Improvement in Quality. The format considers work in progress with partial results being an opportunity for authors to receive suggestions of improvements and advances in the state of art.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Type of submissions\/contributions:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions must be prepared as short papers and demos (optional) of works-in-progress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Short papers should contain between 4 and 8 pages and present proposals with initial results. Submission of a work in this workshop does not preclude the opportunity of submission of a long paper in the main track of the IMX. Additionally authors are invited to submit a demo (video up to 3 minutes in mp4 format) related to their proposal.
